BBW Mini Haul

Yesterday, I went to the mall and strolled into Bath and Body Works. I love this store. Anyway, I left with these gems:

The best part? I only spent $5.47!

Big Lots

I've been a bit bored. It's leading to posting more than a few entries in one day- oh no!
Anyway, I've wanted to share an amazing store with the world. I'm sure a lot of people have seen and heard of it, but have they actually ventured inside?

Big Lots. This store is like a sanctuary to me! They carry a vast array of discontinued and hard-to-find items. People often think that the items are expired, but never have I once seen something in there past its prime. Last week I found some good snacks.

The very first thing I picked up from the store was a little theater box of candy called 16 Candles. "Tastes like birthday cake!" it boasts on the front. They're made in the U.S., which is nice. They were so curious! I had to get them. I only paid a dollar, anyway!

Hmm, okay. They're VERY sweet. Not sickingly sweet, but very sweet. They remind me of Cookie Dough Bites, yet they're so much tastier. The side of the box states that these are covered in yogurt, but it tastes more like white confection. The inside is crumbly, but tastes like sugar cookies. Overall, yummy.

I also picked up this fifty-cents bottle of Mango-Peach Water. I'll be honest - I didn't drink it yet. It smells like Vitamin Water, which appalls me. I'll get to it at some point, though! It was a very cute and squat bottle, by the way.

This is the the product that is behind my praising of Big Lots. CHEETOS MIGHTY ZINGERS. No one knows about these - anyone I ask. They came out about a year or two ago in a few flavors and I was immediately hooked. Of course, anything I like soon gets discontinued. Big Lots sincerely made me happy by carrying ONE BAG of these. And it was only $1.60 for a big bag!

And last but not least, Big Lots feeds my addiction. What is that addiction, you ask?

Snyder's Pretzel Pieces. Little gems of Heaven, if you ask me. Big Lots has them for TWO DOLLARS a bag, while the grocery store is almost $3.50. I also picked up some Red Bull Cola and True Color energy drinks, but I already drank them before I could get pictures.

Hand-Sanitizer Haul

Bath and Body Works - one of my favorite stores, no doubt. Somehow, everything in BBW is amazing, but I am mostly attracted to their hand-sanitizers and lip glosses. It's a bad thing when people let me go in here, because I come out with stuff like this!

I emerged from the store with a hefty bag of ELEVEN hand-sanitizers there to add to my existing BBW sanitizer collection! I'll give short reviews for each starting from the top left:

- Blueberry Pancake: smells like blueberries or very sweet wild berries. I love this one!

- Apple Pie: smells like red apples.

- Blueberry Cake Donut: mmmm, smells like freshly baked sugar cookies!

- Raspberry Frost Donut: smells like the frosting on the Dunkin' Donuts strawberry frosted donuts.

- Chocolate Chew (ghost): smells like sweet chocolate.

- Black Cherry (Scary Cats): smells like black cherry.

- Sour Drop (haunted house) x2: smells like sweet/sour candy. I love this one!

- Jelly Jam Donut: smells like fruit punch.

- Chocolate Crème Donut: smells somewhat like Chocolate Chew, but milder.

- Cinnamon Glazed Donut: mmm, smells like a cinnamon bun.

Every one of these smells amazing - hurry and pick them up while they're on sale!

I Have Returned!

I've been in and out of school last week due to a severe toothache that developed from a bad cavity. I had no choice but to go to the dentist (breaking the bank!) and get the tooth pulled. For the past two days I've been eating potatoes, pudding, and ice cream!

This is what I'm chowing down on right now:
Turkey Hill Snyder's® Chocolate Pretzel Light Ice Cream - Snyder's® of Hanover chocolate covered pretzels and fudge swirling through premium, light vanilla ice cream.

Little Spheres of Heaven

This little tin was a favor from a baby shower. It had about eight little bite-sized crunchy-coated (not quite nonpareil) gumdrops. The multi-colored ones tasted like a mixed berry and the white ones tasted like pineapple. I can't bring myself to eat another just yet - they're too good to eat fast!

Marsh Monsters

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Walgreens and I was browsing around the Halloween candy sections. Nothing seemed very interesting until I was ready to pay for a Spanish Nestle candy bar (Carlos V, only .39 cents!) that was hiding under some other candy. I was walking up to the register, and something really caught my eye. There was a box of these near-sandwich-sized candies. One was a ghost, white and black, and the other was a pumpkin, orange and black. What were these mysterious candies? They're "TRIPLE LAYERED MARSHMALLOW AND GUMMY". Whattt? Marshmallow and gummy candy - together? They were $1.69, but I had to buy it. I bought the pumpkin-shaped one.

It was strange, and  I didn't open it until now. It's orange, smells fruity, and the marshmallow tastes like a Peep with a fruity, artificial flavoring. It was fresh, and not bad considering I don't like sugar-coated marshmallows. I think these are meant to be eaten as a sandwich, because the marshmallow was almost impossible to pry off of the gummy, which occupied the middle.

The gummy was a pumpkin-shaped patty, and it was BLACK. Honestly, I've never seen a black gummy before and I was pretty amazed. The candy is made by Flix (same company that makes gummy boogers, gummy popcorn, gummy zits, etc.) so I expected it to be creative, fun, and tasty. That it was! The gummy was chewy, fruity and yummy! It was definitely a strange snack, but worth picking up as a novelty.

The Beginning

I've decided to create a blog. Blogger is fun, easy, and free - which motivated me to do this as I've seen so many simple blogs. My name is Asia, and I'm here to blog about the random things I discover in life! My goal is to become a serious blogger - to blog and post reviews about various candies, make-up, foods, and daily life as it is. There's no doubt that I'm new at this, but I will learn. My mind runs wild all day, and my blog is where it can chill out for a while. I hope you enjoy reading my blogs as much as I enjoy writing them!
